Creative Brain

I am constantly chasing inspiration. Such is life of directing marketing. Most people think that creative thinking comes from your brain. However, that’s only partially true. The body-mind connection is extremely strong, and if you body is not up to a certain standard, you brain will refuse to be creative. This article from Inc. Magazine discusses how to use neuroscience to boost your creativity. There are a lot of simple things – seemingly irrelevant -  that can boost you creativity:

  1. Schedule morning meetings.
  2. Eat a protein-rich breakfast.
  3. Walk before–or during–meetings.
  4. Reduce workplace stress

This is great! It clearly shows how insanely complicated the creative process can be. I especially enjoy the process of “Bang Head On Wall”!
